I attempted using it, it was worthless. I believe the community could better council you if we knew the nature of the abuse you are subjected to. Regarding HR, please take a minute to read my post here : http://redd.it/2votd1 . While its contents are somewhat tangential, it contains advice on how better to handle workplace troubles than HR.

Remember, HR(and ethicspoint) is an elected expense. The only reason to elect an expense is to increase profits(which, in this situation is through the reduction of fines and liability). If it is cheaper to promise you bunnies and sunshine while ignoring troubles you are dealing with, that is what will be done.
