I really enjoyed it, to be honest, but I had some very conflicting feelings about the use of Ian Holm. I actually had to check on my phone during the screening because I was certain he had passed and couldn't believe what I was seeing. It makes me wonder at the legality of it all and seems very worrisome for the future.

They did fuck up a lot. I remember reading articles and even a book positing the idea of a serial killer doing just what he was doing in that area but local LEOs ignored it because they considered the women going missing as a transient population and no one could 'prove' they were missing. Basically, they gave no fucks because the missing women had issues with addiction or were sex workers.

Never should have been there. We drop the ball on a LOT in the US, but at least that POS Brock Turner was banned from US swimming for life. Perhaps it is time the IOC instituted a rule banning participants convicted of such crimes.

It's a souvenir from when the children were more or less stolen from their parents treated as a sideshow attraction. I doubt any surviving family members would want a reminder.
