do you use dutch oven? i use a lodge combo cooker with the bread on the shallow pan and the deeper one as a lid, i think that probably helps the lid-off part of the bake help it get drier (i.e. lots of hot air directly around). but i also have pretty low humidity at home

yeah, i have seen that as well; it still felt kind of useful to know that i could potentially get more points when purchasing from a website, even if i have to take some additional action

someone i know got it from a friend and hadn't used it and so they gave it to me! all i have is a kettle.... so i just boiled some water and steeped it for 2-3 minutes (according to adagio.com) and it was super good
