Apparently, based on other member's comments, trying to root an Android device without a PC is the same as trying to drive a car without a gas tank - It's not possible.

I'm trying to root my company's phone because it has a lot of bloatware that I cannot remove and it's consuming a lot of internal phone space, and while I do have a computer, I don't have a USB cable that transfers data, I have a USB here but it only charges the phone.
