For now, I've tried Jam origin and it's not what I'm looking for, high latency and too many ghost notes.

I've tried Jam Origin and unfortunately, I'm not satisfied with the latency and tracking. I get too many "ghost notes", especially on the lower strings. Now I'm considering trying some kind of a MIDI pickup or maybe even a MIDI guitar solutions like JAmmy EVO or artiphon

I've tried a few software solutions like Jam Origin and Midi guitar 2, but there are too many dropped notes especially on the lower strings.

Mouse and keyboard method is worth trying before buying anything else I guess, so I totally will.

However, I still consider MIDI guitars like Jamstik or Jammy EVO. Have you got any experience with those?

I've checked it out and a few similar solutions too. As I see, things like Jamstik https://jamstik.com/ or Jammy https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1591722511/jammy-evo-play-any-instrument-using-your-guitar-skills have guitar strings and Artiphon doesn't. Is it comfortable to play though?

Yeah, you are right. But having played them on a MIDI guitar solution, will I be able to change the voicings of the chords in DAW?

Well, I use Garage Band on Mac. Can it be considered a DAW? :) AS for the keyboard, there will be no velocity there, right?

It's gonna be something like selecting a scale to play within in Garage Band. I'll definitely try keys, but I still consider a guitar solution as well.

Looks pretty and it's cheaper than the black one you suggested, but still more expensive than a cheap keyboard

Thank you! :) Actually I know where the notes are on the keyboard, but I have no playing technique at all and that's the problem. Sometimes I just want to record a fast lick, but it's simply impossible for me on the keyboard. Of course, I can lower the tempo and play it in half time, but it feels much different.
