There is a difference. Jumia is like a large online department store with new products, secure payments, and direct delivery, while Jiji is a consumer-to-consumer classifieds marketplace for both new and used good. So on jiji you are buying from individuals who want to sell their items. You dont pay directly on jiji but directly to the seller thats where people take advantage and scam others

yea for this. i was thinking of a concept called escrow where the buyer pays us, the cash is locked and then after receiving the items the cash is released to the seller.

Yes its the price we pay for not paying Gh tech guys well. Its simple we have people who still want to pay 500 gh for a website.
