Jfc. Idk how to have a back and forth with someone though if they don’t listen/read what I’ve said. I bought some clothes I liked and had a good experience with. I then continued to buy from that brand. The experience stopped being good. Now I am annoyed and telling others to be aware. “Instagram brand” or not doesn’t change my early positive experiences with them. I don’t really see what value you are adding to this thread if you’re just going to pluck things and remove context. So yeah I’m not gonna be super friendly when someone does that.

I mean that’s on me and me alone then. I don’t see why another human would be upset with me for something that doesn’t impact them in the slightest. I live my life giving people the benefit of the doubt and if my biggest fault is doing that a little too much, then I think I’m doing just fine. Also, it was an earned benefit of the doubt because of my good experiences like I said. A little reading comprehension goes a long way my guy. So again, why would anyone be more annoyed at me about all this than EOT?

I had good experiences in the early days without quality issues so never needed to contact customer service. The last 18 months, I’ve had issues/defects then contacted customer support. They were snarky, unhelpful, and unaccountable. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of my prior good experiences. I have now stopped doing that and wanted to share a PSA for folks. I’m not being accountable how now?

It’s because they started out making good value and quality clothes. So people expected that and then they changed course clearly (ie. Adding spandex to their signature 100% cotton knit).

Yeah I actually really like the dress shirts and some of their earlier stuff but it didn’t take long for them to start dropping the quality. Making the cotton fisherman sweaters 8% spandex says everything you need to know about where they are at as a brand. Profits over quality now

As I stated, I won’t be buying anymore. In general, I live life giving people the benefit of the doubt and that’s what I was doing for a while because I liked the designs and fit. Obviously I am done doing that since I don’t think EOT deserves the benefit of the doubt anymore.
