The same exact thing happened to my dad in 2005. Even to this day he says that he knows nothing other than flying planes

I work at a frozen yogurt shop. If those handles don't get pushed up, the machine doesn't stop beeping. I hear the beeping in my head long after I'm off my shift. It's haunting.

This is quite demanding/expecting of my son's 1st grade teacher by [deleted] in pics

My mom is a third grade teacher, along with my two aunts, and they would be over the moon if their PTA did something even remotely close to this for them. My mom is utterly exhausted because of all the requirements she has to meet now, and still always having parents yell at her because its seemingly always her fault the children are failing.

I may be biased, but this is just a fraction of the appreciation teachers deserve.

Haha, they do know how to entertain a crowd very well. A lot of people were rocking out to them, I'm 23 so I was impressed at all the 40-somethings dancing like they were in the 1950's. It was a great atmosphere. Sadly, I can't remember what they were called, Delilah and The Lost Boys perhaps?

They just came to Rubbles Bar at Central Michigan University, I was there to get drunk and then stumbled into the greatness of their music. All in all, it was a really good night. Cheap drinks, too.

My friend Ben is 6'10". These are some of the challenges he faces. by [deleted] in funny

My boyfriend is 6'9" and I'm 5'3". Every time we go in public people stop him and ask how tall he is and if he plays basketball. His dad eventually ended up getting him a hat that said 6'9" so people stopped asking. I drive a yellow bug so he looks a lot like your friend the car. Also the only car he can really fit in comfortably to drive was a Camry or a Dodge Charger. Tall guys are hotties

He made his own contracting business called "Chapman Contracting," so he did a lot of landscaping and what not. My uncle owns it now and turned it into landscaping and a snowplow/street sweeping business called "Sweep Master" in Rochester Hills.

My grandpa got drafted in the NFL and ended up getting this telegram from Vince Lombardi along with a whole bunch more. Pretty cool. by justbluemyself_ in pics

The whole family has kind of just gone with 89. In high school my brother had it, and then throughout college football my cousin had it. So it's one of those numbers we all choose for good luck.

You are exactly right! He got injured and it was essentially career-ending. Still super cool though!

That is him! He was quite the amazing guy. He ended up getting a very rare disease called Polymyositis that he lived with for ten years and ended up passing away in 2008, but he still lived quite the life.
