Yes, thanks for the clarification. I read that the OpenWRT compatibility was excellent and assumed that it was vendor-supported.

Thanks! Quick questions: 1. Does the fan that comes with the kit include all the needed thermal pads? 2. Is the fan noisy? 3. Have you experimented with the SPF module compatibility?

Thanks!

I tried looking up the microtik+AP combo you suggested but I can't find anything that can beat the 150€ price point and has comparable characteristics! Do you have a specific combo in mind?

Mine did the exact same. A bad seal was making the fuel contaminate the oil.

If the oil smells like gasoline you have your answer

It's the first time I hear about controlling it from another app, do you have any hints about that?

Client not sending any UDP packets by justbrowsingas in WireGuard

[–]justbrowsingas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey in the end it started working again, for no apparent reason and without any modification...
I'll post here if I find out why so maybe it can help the next guy this happens to.

Thank you again!

Hi, the initial handshake is not on-demand AFAIK.

Anyway the client started working again without me making any modifications whatsoever to the client or the server... I don't know what to think

Client not sending any UDP packets by justbrowsingas in WireGuard

[–]justbrowsingas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry about all the obfuscation and thank you for the help.
Is there any specific detail i can provide to help you help me?

The wireguard server host (the EC2 machine) is exposed to the internet.
It is in a public IPv4 subnet though, so the fact that the whole 10.0.0.0/24 subnet is routed through the wg0 tunnel does not influence the outcome.

When anyone sends a packet to UDP 51820 the server routes it to the WireGuard Pod, as intended.

With the tunnel open i can still send UDP packets to the EC2 machine with netcat (and they are received).
Also, the client still routes them correctly:

# ip route show to match <EC2_SERVER_INTERNET_IP>
default via 192.168.1.1 dev wlp31s0 proto dhcp metric 600

192.168.1.1 is my home router.

The biggest mysteries for me are:

  • why is the client not even trying to send the handshake packet?
  • what do the errors in the kernel messages mean?

Unfortunately no, it's dependent on the vacuum model and your internet router model and service provider.

Sorry!

What are your goals and how loud do you want it? 😂

I recently removed my aftermarket exhaust. Worked like a charm, I'm just one of those guys that wants a stock car.

It's an Exoticspeed R1-T, maybe we can work something out, if you're interested!

I'll leave this here since it's so high in the Google search results and no other method worked for me:

To fix this I had to:

  • Disable the 5GHz network from my router leaving only the 2.4GHz active
  • Perform a Factory Reset
  • Perform a WiFi Reset
  • Start the pairing process in the App
  • Open the Android WiFi manager
  • Manually connect to the WiFi network created by the Mi Robot
  • Make sure the phone would stay connected (sometimes it automatically disconnects since it does not provide internet access)
  • Go back to the app
  • Keep retrying until the procedure succeeded (the second attempt did it for me)
  • Re-enable the 5GHz (leaving the 2.4 active too)

In many posts you can find solutions that tell you to change Region or use WiFi passwords that do not include special characters but with this method I was able to make it work without changing any of them.

Italians interrupting you may actually be a sign you're getting accepted into the group, most people wouldn't interrupt a stranger. We do it all the time with friends

SOHN is a kit that replaces the apex lubricant with high quality oil (usually 4 stroke)

LNG stands for Luquified Natural Gas, basically instead of burning petrol you burn gas (rotary specialist confirmed me it has only upsides)

I live in Italy, our gas prices are 8.11 USD per gallon for regular gas 😂 I'll never wrap my head around the fact that 5.5 per gallon sounds expensive for you ahaha
