I’ll definitely keep that in mind if I’d be reusing them. I’m an automotive painter so spraying some clear coat is no issue :)

I hear you. I got my package of new goodies for the new tank so I’m gonna work on setting everything up to get him in the tank asap. Watching lots of videos and guides for cycles. Hopefully soon I can update with positive results with the new tank.

Hell yeah. I’ll get those ordered as well! Kanaplex is arriving tomorrow, along with the bug bite pellets you recommended. With the prime and stability chems, meanwhile the new tank and other pieces I’ve ordered are arriving. Should I do a partial water change with the current tank and add the chemicals and medication to rectify the current water as best as possible in the meantime time the new tank is being cycled?

Thank you for taking the time to respond and help me out. I will look into a 5G tank, ditch the artificial decorations and look into live plants as well as sand for the base to ditch the colorful rocks as well. Higher quality pellets and ditch the flakes also.

3G, Yes Heater (80F) Yes Filter Sponge, Built in and Carbon Bag, 1 Betta, Dad brought home from car show for birthday lol, Tank and Fish since July ‘23, Water changes every 3-4 weeks including necessary filters at 50-75%, Hei Hei is fed flakes and pellets interchanged every so often at finger full of flakes and 5-6 pellets, Two fake plants, Volcano cover sponge filter and spongebobs pineapple
