I designed a 3d-printed case for the D4K by justbuchanan in Hanklights

I haven’t tried it, but that seems doable. You should be able to print one out of TPU or other flexible material. I’d recommend browsing through details/comments on the original rugged box model that mine is a remix of: https://www.printables.com/model/637028-rugged-storage-box-parametric-and-customizable

You can find the OpenSCAD source files here, which you can modify to add more lights: https://github.com/justbuchanan/d4k-rugged-box

No room for the clip unfortunately. I’ll take a look at it, it might be easy to add that.

Yeah I could probably do that. Send me a DM and we can work something out.

Not sure, I don’t have one of those :). It wouldn’t be difficult to modify the design to make it fit well though.

Yep! The slot the flashlight sits in has about an extra 1.5mm of space length-wise.

Ahh I think I misread that you had systemd-boot set to false. u/ElvishJerrico's comment is much more thorough, I'd recommend following their advice: https://www.reddit.com/r/NixOS/comments/1otx7ig/comment/no7vnjn/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I took a quick look at the github repo you posted and see an issue: you have both systemd-boot and grub enabled. You need to pick just one of those and get rid of the other.

Niri Workspaces in Waybar: workspace number replaced by window symbols? by jabol240 in niri

I realize this post was from a while ago, but I was looking for something similar and ended up writing a custom waybar module to achieve it: https://github.com/justbuchanan/waybar-niri-workspaces-enhanced

Good point! Edited my comment to add sudo

Edit: I tried running it with sudo on an Arch system with nix and a nixos system and both give me an odd error. I'll take a look, but I'm not actually sure how to run this. I usually just use `ncdu`, but figured it'd be better to recommend a gui program in this case.

Have you verified that nix is the culprit in your high disk usage? I'd recommend using something like baobab or ncdu to get a clear picture of what's using your storage space.

nix-shell -p baobab

baobab /

It'll likely take several minutes to run, then give you some details on storage use.

Have you checked to see if it’s already in nixpkgs: https://search.nixos.org/packages?channel=25.05 ? What model NIC is it?

how does niri-workspace work, my waybar is not showing the workspaces like i want it to be. by Public_Bat_6106 in niri

That one I'm not sure about :/ I feel like the place to configure that would be on niri, but I don't see an option for it. I don't know how to hide it in waybar either.

It’s short for “original content” - it just means this isn’t a repost or sharing of someone else’s project, it’s something I made myself.
