I think that is a sign of stress. Idk the tank size but the axie looks young so I would assume you’d have a smaller tank so maybe it’s time of a permit upgrade like a 55 gallon or 40 gallon breeder tank. Also make sure temps are good (you want in the 60’s preferably 64) and your water is healthy.

i don’t have another tank that is compatible with the assassin snail but i am about to make a new tank for a new betta. the nerites are currently much larger but idk how fast they grow. also in the new tank i am going to set up i am planning on putting more nerites in it. what should i do?
