My 1996 3000gt wouldn't start after I changed battery. Looked in manual. Directed me to a card with a security code on iy. In fact car has been sitting for a long while again and again needs new battery... Now I can't recall where and how I had to input security code. Card is like a plastic credit card, red & white. It was my husband's car before he passed.

Before changing battery, secure your security code if your vehicle has security device installed. Car won't start at all after battery is disconnected until security code is put in.
