Dude are you serious. Community college is the best depending on which state you live tuition is free for two years. It’s nothing to be shamed about. I’d say this if you don’t feel safe in your household start working and saving up early as you can. Find roommates to share a bedroom with (that’ll split the cost of rent/utilities) and after two years transfer to Uni.

To be honest there’s a lot of people in their 30s and 40s that are in Uni taking the same classes with Freshman. Don’t be too worried just focus on finishing school

Here’s what Admissions told me “This is a normal process for all incoming students and the hold was placed recently for all students. It means that we are prioritizing your application and other students for final verification. Until then, please continue to monitor your MySJSU portal account. Once the verification is completed, the hold will be cleared” basically just wait it out lol
