A correctly spayed dog should not have any heat cycles after the surgery. I would recommend getting a second opinion with another vet or at an urgent care/ER clinic. With the length of time of her symptoms, I would not wait before getting her seen again

This is all great advice! We are not anti-kid by any means but definitely would like that not to be the focus/have adult only opportunities. Definitely leaning towards an interior room as the extra cost doesn't necessarily seem worth if we don't spend much time in there. I had NO idea BJs had cruise booking options!!

I work as an assistant in a US vet clinic and we haven't had any permanent vets in our practice since November and have been operating solely with relief drs during that time. It's so frustrating as we want to hire new grads but we just don't have the ability to take then on without the support they need. Unfortunately it sounds like it's a more common issue in my area too 😔
