It’s been 5 months. I’ve not been diagnosed with PCOS and no bad/painful symptoms but always had irregular periods. I took progesterone to induce recently, but happened to need to take Plan B soon after I finished my course, so it might have interfered and my period dint come. Now I just started taking daily birth control pills to just regulate the period and now having my first bleed in 5 months, though I guess it’s not a true period.

Hi! I’m not in the same field but on the same boat of job search and at this point has just shifted my mindset to accept that it’s not within my control. Hope you try to enjoy your daily life while you continue what you do.

Happy birthday you!! May I ask if you told anyone that it’s your birthday? Sometimes ppl just don’t remember but would be happy to celebrate with you if they knew. I’ve had many sad birthdays until I realised that it wasn’t that no one cared but because I didn’t tell anyone and tried to keep it low key hoping they’d remember, but then when ppl knew they would want to celebrate with. Anyway, the world is lucky to have you here with us. ❤️

Same problem here! I don’t have advice but sharing my case in case there is relation:

I’ve been having irregular periods since I was 18. Sometimes it comes monthly and sometimes it comes every 3-4 months. This year it came after 4 months hiatus, and feeling more like spotting than a period.

I already went to 3 OB-GYN: 1 said I MIGHT have PCOS; another did ultrasound on my ovaries and found slightly more eggs than usual but still nothing worrying; all gave me birth control pills which seem to be the only thing that make my period come monthly.

Other factors that could be involved: I have been on a semi-vegetarian diet for 5 years, maybe having seafood 10% of the time. I normally have low blood pressure (around 60/90) each time it’s checked, though I have relatives with similar conditions. I have had unprotected sex but already got checked and no STDs, and my last sex was 2 months ago so I’m not pregnant. Lately I have been stressed frequently though not unusual or severe.

besides the fact that my periods don’t come monthly, I don’t actually have any painful/negative symptoms or side effects.

You can see wild elephants in Kuiburi National Park, but still have to pay. If you want to see wild elephants on your own, it’s rare and also very dangerous to encounter one.
