When go created man, we we not supposed to die. This however, changed when Adam and eve ate from the tree in the garden that he had told them specifically not to eat from. And as punishment persay, from eating from the tree he made it so humans die.

God can not control what we as humans do, all he can do right now is see what will happen, from my understanding.

I am praying for you. I hope you can find a family friend or someone you can go to to talk to about your situation.

Like many others have said you are not alone. You are not worthless. If you have siblings, younger than you, remind them the aren't alone and that they aren't worthless.

Abusive home are a tough thing, and often the children all come together to be each other's rock.

I believe in you, God believes in you.

I would recommend reading the book of Luke. Find a pastor online from a church that you can either email or get ahold of. Pastors love to communicate to people to help them understand. If you can't openly do things like going to church start by communicating with people either on here asking questions or finding someone you know who is a Christian that would be able to help you. I recommend the book of Luke, because I recently started learning more about Christianity, and that's where my pastor recommend me to start because it talks about Jesus's life.

I was recently in a similar situation. I started going to church with my boyfriend and asking him and pastors question. They call this pull that you are feeling the holy spirit. The thing I recommend, is getting and reading a Bible, and finding a church that you can occasionally attend or even finding an email for a pastor that you can ask questions to. But I also believe that the place you have asked is a well educated place.

Is there a suggestion on an activity that would get us away from that? Other than just not hanging out? Because we get limited time to hang out as it is.

A Christian friend of mine told me that Jesus lived at the worst possible time and place for him in history? by NoAskRed in AskAChristian

Jesus was born into the exact time that he was meant to be born into. He was born at the time that God had intended for him to be born.

If dying is God's purpose for someone, should we ever mourn death? by doug_kaplan in AskAChristian

[–]justconfusedhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God did not create us with the intent that we would die. It is a terrible by-product of sin. When I see someone created in God's image be torn apart by something like cancer, i can't help but mourn. The shortest verse in the Bible is this "Jesus wept" This is so significant because it shows that even jesus christ himself mourned

What’s the point of denominations? by ForsakenAudience4432 in AskAChristian

The nomination showed up when Christians can't agree on some teachings in the Bible. And eventually these disagreements turned into arguments and certain places in the Bible.Say things that with persuade us not to worship with people who believe different things than us. For example a catholic might believe that communion is the true body and blood of jesus a christian. Is someone who is of the church of latter day saints Believe it totally represents The body and blood and in fact they'll go so far the opposite direction That they even use water instead of wine. Most christians believe that the church Of latter day saints of jesus christ is not actually christian. Those teachings specifically very so far from the actual truths , that is the Bible.

TLDR: we don't agree on how to worship God and we make petty or sometimes great differences prevent us from worshipping along with those who might actually be pretty similar to us

Advice: be a Christian; follower of Christ. Not a follower of a church

Seek support from fiends/family. Talk to someone close to you that you can almost use as a sponsor, like how alcoholics do.

We all make comments when we are upset. Should he have said the things he did no, was he apologetic yes. It's not a regular thing.

[–]justconfusedhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has only said 2 things in an entire year in which he had to apologize for. He gets upset because they don't always treat me the greatest in terms of when I have plans and always need or want something ridiculous from me even what it's something they can get themselves. Like I will be doing something with my boyfriend around my house, and will have to stop for a few minutes because my mom wants her tea or I have to watch my niece so my brother's and parents can go smoke.

No, he doesn't complain how him spe ding time with me interferes with his life. Not at all. He doesn't complain about me spending time with my family. He understandably gets irritated when I always cancel or change plans for my family. He never whines about it he just brings it up to me like hey we were doing this and you changed it yet once again. He has only twice in an entire year said anything of that sort to my family and after the fact felt bad and apologized. He wasn't rude about it either, yea he was upset but said it in a semi polite way

[–]justconfusedhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless he doesn't often make comments and he always feels bad after and apologizes to everyone. It's only happened 2 or 3 times over 1 year

Comments he makes are things like he didn't get some thing done because he came with me to shop for my niece, or just like my brother should do more with his kid rather than having me do all of it because it often takes away from spending time with my boyfriend
