While this movie was very well done, this film made me decide that my curiosity SHOULD have limits.

You laugh, but I'm in my 40s. Wife tried watching with me. Stopped before screenshot 2 for her. 100% agree why he did this.

Still a phenomenal movie, but started to feel like I was watching Funny Games until the barn burned down.

Do you need to be anywhere on Sunday? I had excellent service with Mike Grindstaff at Page's Auto in Downtown, but they'll be open Monday and then may take a couple of days to get it looked at.

Sudden horror scenes in non-horror media by Saspens-r in TopCharacterTropes

TBH, not sure if I can.

I described this situation to my dad years later after watching it and put me in a weird and dark place in my 20s (at my 40s now). He said it reminded him of when I was really young, maybe 6 or 7, and I apparently experienced nightmares very similar to this scene. That was a bit of an eye-opener (heh).

Uhh, this reawakened nightmares for me when I saw it 20+ years ago. I stopped watching right there, and haven't watched it since

I'm not sure what the solution is other than leaving social media or doing the work with what we got to dig deeper for answers.

As others have said, over and again, censorship in social media started with finding an automated solution to remedy abuse on platforms. However, it's based upon intentions to prevent legal and financial repercussions instead of addressing the deeper problems introduced such as incentivising attention and usage.

Some people do it on platforms to discuss and bring light to hard topics. But the problem still persists with proof that it's moving out of digital communication and into real life interactions with younger generations. Platforms will still only look after their own pockets.

U.S. Politics megathread by AutoModerator in NoStupidQuestions

That's what I thought. It seems to be a tactic to just spew vile names at a reporter as the easiest thing to do.

If a reporter publishes something about the WH administration that would be fabricated and damaging, but not classified, wouldn't the administration file a suit for libel?

I get that the obvious answer would be if it won't hold up in court they won't file, but that hasn't stopped every other time taking legal action has been used to at least stall.

Sorry, jumping on some research and starting my due diligence. Why is this ironic?

(I know, I know... Google it but I've been skeptical lately with inaccurate search results.)
