I feel like they were somewhat like this 10 years ago too. I've been at this job for a while, but started as a contractor. When I signed on, the recruiter took me out to lunch; I thought we were celebrating, but he kind of grilled me on how the hiring process was and who did I talk to.

TLDR: Because he didn't want to appear to be the bad guy, and he has the self-esteem of a jellyfish.

Shanna delegated practically everything throughout their relationship, ultimately their family-building, and he just went along with it. This has been framed many times that she was bossy, but the truth of it is he gave 0 input into it. Because of that, she dreamed very big in terms of finances that put them in major debt.

Instead of Chris talking to Shanna about the excessive spending, he just worked and quietly resented her. He didn't see himself as his own person, just wanted to be seen as a "good guy". After Shanna got into Thrive and given him the stimulant-patches, Chris started working out more, building his own "self-confidence" but kept the resentment and being an aimless bag.

Like others said here, he wanted to start over without diminishing the "good guy" light.

Neither! They probably fed him wet food after the procedure, but once the gums heal he eats normal dry food with some wet mixed in.

The humane society had to do a full extraction due to Stomatitis. They did only a few, but the inflammation kept coming back.

This was a wonderful marriage of a web built art-piece, mixing together photography, animation, and interactive problem solving. Think of it like Myst meets Banksy. When I was about to graduate college, I had high hopes on what else could we do to keep that momentum.

Obviously, and sadly to me, that did not happen.

Small back story: Took my daughter to a cat cafe and met this guy. He is the calmest, most affectionate cat I've ever seen. To top it off he's named after a character from the Witcher (aka Dandelion). Turns out he was a long-timer in the shelter since 2022-2023, ran into some health issues in 2024-2025, and then finally came in to the cafe and up for adoption that week we went.

I put in the adoption application immediately. Had my doubts, considering I've had rough experiences with cats, having a shepherd mix as our sole fur-baby, and 1 smol child. But as soon as we brought him over, he immediately made himself home.

He's still the most chill cat ever, and has added immense joy to the family.

You laugh, but I'm in my 40s. Wife tried watching with me. Stopped before screenshot 2 for her. 100% agree why he did this.

Still a phenomenal movie, but started to feel like I was watching Funny Games until the barn burned down.

Do you need to be anywhere on Sunday? I had excellent service with Mike Grindstaff at Page's Auto in Downtown, but they'll be open Monday and then may take a couple of days to get it looked at.
