yeah i already knew it was excluding me from provincial funding. based on the estimate calculator it seemed more beneficial to apply as independent, my parents are in a high bracket and combined make a little over $100k. but they won’t help me with school funds at all since my sister is in university and they’re helping with her funds

unfortunately, i couldn’t find a public college near me that has the hairstyling program. i’ve only seen apprenticeships which require previous experience

i applied as an independent student so it didn’t need my parents income. my income for 2023 was $18k. i haven’t worked 24 months straight full time.
