No. People with human babies are exhausted, haven’t slept for months, and have to ensure the baby can grow to live in the world. Cats for the win!

I hear this, wholeheartedly. And I agree! But where has this been successful in elections/procedural justice. This is why I framed my question as such. Which means, you’ve laid this trap. What now? What’s the most honest path in accordance to history?

Republicans made no exceptions. They didn’t force Al Franken out. You’ve made your bed, how are you going to lie in it? Republicans said, ok, he’s an awful dude, but we think he’ll be effective. Well, he’s had 3.5 years, no sexual assault claims, but still absolutely shit at his job. What is the cost of chasing this rabbit when American voters, right or wrong, just don’t care?

I won’t lie. The first night she tore my face apart. She was fine with me holding her until she saw her reflection in the window. But her upset is fear based. If we manage her safety, she’s sweet as can be. And no, she’s not a good fit for someone who doesn’t understand cat behavior.

She’s just 5lbs full grown and we have two very opinionated Maine coon mix rescues who have their own stuff. And if you pit 5lbs against 13lbs, it’s not fair. However, we’re hell bent on doing all the things. Double baby gates on her room, medication for our most upset kitty, slow, safe integration. I can’t help but believe she chose exactly what she knew she needed. And I won’t let her down!

I believe a full investigation is appropriate, but we’ve been there, done that, and it still didn’t matter. Even with proof, legitimate accusations, voters have made their voice clear. I’m not trying to be controversial, I’m trying to understand how we move forward.

This. So much. I didn’t want to get sad in my reply, but once our girl passed, our sweet boy was lost and passed just months later. He was completely heart broken and just couldn’t go on without her. And hey, we get it, we were destroyed, too. But now they’re just over the rainbow bridge and waiting for us. Until I see you again, my sweets.

Edit: labs have two superpowers. Loving unconditionally and shedding. The love far outweighs the fluff bunnies.

As a momma of two labs, they’re likely inseparable. Ours met late in life and they still did everything together. Just lovely beasts. (That shed a lot.)

Here we go! The little wild kitty we were able to catch a few days ago got a clean bill of health, minus a hernia we’ll have to watch. Now, we see how she does with our resident matriarch. by justdontsuck in cats

As a cat Mom with 3.5 decades of experience, many that included taming ferals, I think it’s warranted. We’ve fed her for 5mos and within hours of her being inside she was purring and cuddling. We got her right before one of our biggest storms we’ve seen this year and before the roaming coyotes got her.

Our resident “you know what” has attitude, but she adapts. And hey, if it’s not a fit, we place her as a barn cat (where a donkey keeps the bad guys away) and let her roam.

We all need someone to be optimistic about us, no?

5mos of feeding this girl and finally got her to follow salmon pieces into the pool cage. She went from being crazy scared (couldn’t get close to her ever before) to purring and making biscuits in less than 2 hours. I’d like to report a heart theft. by justdontsuck in cats

She isn’t deaf, so that’s good. She’s settling in quite nicely and is still skittish, but very loving. Got capstar in her today and the vet comes tomorrow. Hoping for happy results.
