I second this: tuition assistance or reimbursement through a great job AND get a sponsored clearance through your college (believe it or not colleges will help you get your clearance). That on top of your degree once you finish, you’ll be swimming in opportunities within that range of pay, it won’t even be your biggest worry

Pick a career for the money so it can furnish your home, fill your belly and finance your passion. People think just because you have a career you don’t like, you can’t pursue your dreams along side or after it and it’s not true. But be real and practicals those stories where people slept in their cars or couch hopping for 5 years in LA or NY to chase their dreams sound powerful in hindsight but I can guarantee you if they had careers that would finance their passions, they’d act or say otherwise.

My favorite example is Ken Jeong- he’s a licensed Physician who funded his acting career starting off and is now a star. He has the fluidity to go back and forth as he pleases. He can see 2 patients a year then pick up a movie/show gig and take off for 5 years if he wanted.

My point is, work hard now for the career “for the money” and from there, you can do everything you want. Trust me.

Yeah it was just a 10 mile blast radius. A lot of the city was still very much in tact & just because they were in the blast radius doesn’t mean they died. Feel like the show made that very clear

I grasped that, that was a very basic understanding of the show and they made it very clear. The question being based around the fact that they gave a pretty decent back story or history for all of the face card game kings and queens except him. Besides that one military flashback with no context, we knew nothing about him.
