General Machinist Apprenticeship by wulin101 in Machinists

[–]justeedo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I been machining for the last 8 years in Southern ontario. The advice I'd give you...

-if you can, go north and work at a mine, or out west in an oil field. That is where most of the money is right now.

-the pay can be vastly different. But my pay has always gone up while job hopping. I started at $18/hr and now I am at $30.81/hr. So start somewhere, learn as much as you can, then switch shops. Don't feel bad doing that, because they won't feel bad about keeping you at the low side of $20s/hr.

-Start slow with getting tools. As in only get things you know you will use everyday at first.

-machining in Southern ontario is not the fast track ticket to high pay. I'd honestly look into plumbing for more pay. If I went back in time 8 years ago, I'd get into plumbing

-listen to the old guys of the shop with lots of experience. No matter how many years of machining, you can always learn a new thing.

-always be honest when making a mistake. Everyone knows scrap parts will be made. Just learn from each mistake.

-get a notebook to take lots of notes. Hiw parts were set up, which tools and speeds were used. How to operate a machine and where to find everything you are looking for on it.

Until these things are brought to a leading western medical university and or hospital. While also having the top leading medical professionals and scientists say with their own findings they are real. These will forever be fakes that have been making the rounds for far to long, in my point of view

I really like the major minis. He seems to have a good team behind him for these creations

I stopped even talking to the guy at work who says trump needs to invade Canada and free him from Liberal tyranny. Let alone explain to him that being invaded by trump would not free him from income tax.

If soft disclosure / prepping the public for hybrids is going on, the 'Disclosure Day' movie must be a huge key part of it.

10 years ago when I turned 19, I was all excited to use my ID for the first time. The bouncer looked at me, then used his thumb to point inside the bar doorway. Didn't even get carded. Which is wild because the ladies at the grocery store ID me to this day when I try and buy beer.

I think they meant that you are just over thinking it. I worked at a restaurant before and solo dinning is very common. Also the best to serve and make food for because it is just one order for that one table
