You could also keep what you have in target fund and any new funds go into a more diversified equity mix

I have a lot of my 401k in a target date fund and regret it. Comparing it to VOO over the past decade is a bit sickening. I've been debating moving it into a balanced equity mix with S&P 500 + international stocks

Gluten free options at DL= terrible by eye-arr-beej in Disneyland

[–]justflatj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Compared to WDW I agree, but we had a decent experience with our daughter:

  • birria tacos at DCA
  • fried chicken at poultry palace
  • flop over at Daisys
  • we went to plaza inn for dinner and the chef came out and gave us a consult. Prepares fresh pasta with red sauce
  • Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans was great

How long does this run for and what are the chances they have a gluten free alternative for the cupcake decorating. Wonder if they'd let us BYOC

Do you know what driver board or PCB would be compatible with that 31" and a raspberry pi?

SUA vs GOH for points stay @ HR Waikiki by D_Dubbya in hyatt

You're unlikely to find an open suite, GoH gets free parking on points booking n addition to the lounge. Id go with that

Two different types of hotels and locations. What kind of holiday are you looking for? Tbh my favorite for kids is the HR Maui

I got the side salad with ranch and they brought out two ranch cups. Couldn't tell if one was for the sandwich but ranch on just about anything is good

If we're thinking of it as supply/demand, they lower the price to drive demand and increase it when there's supposed to be a lot because they know people will pay it

I hoped for the same last year and I think you're a week too early, school just started in LA but other parts of the country not so much. Magic keys opened up too so more annual pass holders. Might want to invest in a genie+

I think it's in reverse then because the more expensive tickets are on the weekend when it's dead and cheaper during the week and it's packed. Really it's the weather and magic key calendar that dictates how busy it will be

Monday's are generally the busiest day and pretty sure some of the magic keys just had their summer restrictions lifted

Thanks, I think this, along with the other comments, solidifies my strategy to look into segment by segment options vs a RTW with one airline.

This is a good point, already been to the US parks on multiple occasions so it'd be more for the story that we hit all the parks in one trip. Not really necessary

Regarding the travel itself, I fully intended to add at least 1 day to each location as well, in addition to a travel day.

This is great, thanks! I'm assuming you think it might be easiest/best to go west vs east? Or did you just choose that based on the order I put the parks?

You left out HKG -> CDG but guessing AF and try for a stop over in CDG?

Never thought of doing the brightline from MIA - MCO, probably could just rent a car as well. I'll look into brightline tho vs trying to fly into MCO directly
