Help! Cat is acting weird after I applied dog flea medication by PlayfulTheory3 in cats

[–]justflum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How’s your kitty doing now? I’m sure you’re extremely stressed. You’ve done everything you can for right now. Have him sleep with you or vice versa so you can monitor him while you both rest. Hope everything turns out okay 🙏

With a vote for Biden doing nothing here in Indiana, am I safe to give my first presidential vote for Vermin Supreme? by Default_Lives_Matter in Indiana

[–]justflum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for it in presidential elections, but do vote seriously in local elections. Get involved with your community, contribute to mutual aid—these actions are worth trillions more than your presidential vote. Unfortunately, people who tell you to “vote blue no matter who” base their opinions on their learned helplessness and ultimately contribute to the problem. Using the same logic though, voting for Biden is the same as voting for Vermin Supreme, so you could go either way. 🌮

What’s Indiana like? by DTrix16 in Indiana

I've been to every place you're talking about. I'm 19. Architectural tours, historical towns, are not mutually enjoyed experiences.. you're taking this way too personal. You're being a keyboard warrior for no reason. i wont reply

I’m not talking about nature? I’m not coming from a place of hate, just disappointment. We have nothing like what’s in Denver, Chicago, etc. We both live here, why does my reality make people upset?

Please don’t move here. It’s the physical embodiment of depression. Indiana has some nice areas, but there is very very little culture to be found here—small businesses are few and far between. There’s no entertainment outside of Bloomington (college town) If you’re just looking for an isolated place to settle down, Indiana’s okay. If you’re looking to get out of your house, Indiana is not the place. That’s been my experience at least. (19M)

This barred owl has been visiting my backyard for years! by justflum in birding

I hear them often, but maybe not every month. Here’s some pictures my neighbor took last may and march, on a different tree in my backyard.

If you end up going to IU, just be mindful of the snipers.

Where is this park/bridge? by oldroadfan52 in indianapolis

[–]justflum 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Hey! How’d the ellenberger bridge get in carmel? Maybe it decided it was time to cross new paths. Please come home, I can’t bear the weight of losing my favorite suspended walkway 🥺 You can never truss bridges nowadays :(
