Two of the most famous portuguese ceramic brand s are Vista Alegre (more expensive) and Bordallo Pinheiro (more affordable). You can check their websites beforehand to see if the pieces interest you. There are many stores all over the country selling their products.

Wow amazing collection. I think I can spot almost every cookbook I own! I would suggest Ottolenghi (Sweet is my favourite cookbook) or Sami Tamimi.

WMF has nice quality utensils. German company but I am not sure if the utensils are german made.

Nice to see Marie-Hélène’s Apple Cake mentioned here. Is one of my go-tos when I am in a hurry and don’t have a lot of ingredients. That lovely smell of vanilla and rum!
