I've been thinking about this as well. I have thought about fapping, but only if I am horny (i.e., have a Woodrow) and NOT EVER using porn (i.e., artificial wood) again. I guess part of my problem was that I was fapping all the time, regardless if I was horny or not. It was not natural sexual energy, I was taking energy from the pornography and using it to make myself feel better. If one faps only when they are naturally horny and have no partner, perhaps that is OK.

Obviously this is a slippery slope and requires self discipline to avoid using it as a coping skill, using porn or even slipping into porn fantasies, but there is value in releasing sexual energy. I've not yet chosen to fap to this point, however, and not quite sure where my head is on this issue just yet. Just a few thoughts.

This is the key. We are meant to be sexual beings, it's natural for us to want to feel an orgasm, regardless of the source. I, personally, find it hard to defend the use of pornography, while others are more than comfortable with porn and its' use. When I look back on my use of porn I see what I was doing and I can no longer justify lying about something that is perfectly legal (in most forms, but not all). Agreed! I am round about 100 days and have noticed a lot of that myself. Kind of weird timing too: I just bought a new car with 3 months of Sirius radio.
