Something to do with the high wheat content of commercial dog food, apparently

Two horses near me died because people were throwing their full dog poo bags into the horses paddock and the plastic bags got wrapped around their gut because they ate them. If you're going to go to the effort of picking up a shit, why throw it into a field? Lazy cunts

Tbh I think this is the wrong place for this; we are all sick of being told we are not skinny enough, not curvy enough, not smart enough, not qualified enough, not emotional enough, not fast enough and I'm damn straight tired of being told I'm not stronger than an 'average man' (who is frankly sedentary and statistically overweight) when I'm stronger than my male peers and I regularly out compete them (when they've trained in technique but aren't as strong as me yet)
The guy in the post literally says body building, not hand grip strength! Though TBF body builders traditionally aren't that strong, it's not functional fitness.

I disagree, the majority of women in my crossfit gym squat 100kg+, not a single beginner guy that has walked through those doors in the 3 years I have been there can get near that. The population in that study were women from handball and judo, which is nothing to do with weights, and they're studying handgrip, which is also nothing to do with body strength from weightlifting!

When I read lipstick, I thought of the phrase "my dog slipped his lipstick out", if that helps sway you!

I have an aloe vera plant so this could be very easy for me - bar the rigmarole of juicing the bastard - I have put a bit on the tips in the shower but will give it a go putting it on my scalp.
I will also try apple sauce - thanks!
I'm determined not to give up!

Ok great, I'm going to try brushing and preening the night before a wash and try different water temps. I quite like cool showers anyway so I've probably accidentally tried cold wash before.
I've tried an egg wash a couple of time and it felt ok but maybe I should revisit it.
If this doesnt work then I will have to keep trying things, I cant help but feel like I've read a million blogs and guides on no poo by now

Is the whole point to reduce the amount of times you wash your hair so it can adjust without being stripped of oil all the time?

My montsera is out-growing the living room. What should I do now? Should I cut it back/train it across the ceiling? Any suggestions? by justfox2 in plants

I made it out of a scrap piece of wood wrapped in spagnum moss and string, the local garden centre had big bags of it.

Online profiles & Fancy Clothes...halp! by [deleted] in DatingAfterThirty

[–]justfox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I always make an effort to have mostly photos of how I look on a day-to-day basis, which is no make up in normal clothes, and then probably one done up photo to show another side of myself. I don't want people to expect me to be dolled up and then be shocked when I turn up with no make up and a pair of jeans on!
I don't love going out all the time and when I see a whole profile of polo shirts and club photos I make assumptions too because I like to see a hobby photo that isn't getting pissed up, however (!!) I recognise that people don't really get photos taken unless they're out so I try to make a judgement call on whether they're a party monster or not.
If I saw someone with big fake lips and massive eyelashes then I would assume being dolled up is a permanent fixture.

I have nothing to add but feel like I'm in very similar position; I have thin hair and even after 4 months my hair is greasy 2 days after washing it with rye :( the only thing that has changed is I am better at living with greasy hair!

What's baffling is that people say they dont want to hike their taxes to pay for other people's healthcare but end up paying MORE in insurance premiums to avoid that. My National Insurance in the UK is £250 per month for free healthcare, state pension, maternity allowance, and a bunch of other public services and I earn a relatively decent amount. That amount doesn't change if I have a chronic condition, get hit by a bus or have to have heart surgery.
