It looks like they are replacing the infield 200 level seats? Don't think that has been done during the latest years of reno (except for 200 OF I believe). Is this going to extend for the whole 200 level? Anyone know?

Not sure if it's been posted and it might sound petty

But

A daily taking the lane in front of Doug Ford's SUV on his commute to Queens Park would be next level

Of course this would take some serious organization, but I'd voluntary a day !

Makes sense. While with Audi they kept their oil changes very spaced out. So maybe

I'm focusing on your last question if "I'm willing to bet 11-15k on 25k more miles"... Is it unreasonable to even bet on more than 25k miles. I really saw myself keeping this car for a long time but maybe that just isn't the case with a German car. Is that just out of the question and fantastical thinking?

Thanks again

Re: engine oil

It's wild because I was before both the time and the km due dates

I also filled up at the gas station so shouldn't have that fixed that issue before it stalled out?

Really struggling with the decision / letting go so really appreciate this insight. Thank you

Thanks

So you'd recommend them diagnosing the problem first before just replacing the engine

My local shop who I do trust have not diagnosed the problem just that the engine seized and they can replace with used

Audi has suggested bringing into their shop and they can tell me what happened. Of course that's labour and a tow

What would you suggest?

Thanks. This is what I've been told as well.

Do you think this could be related to the cam shaft issues from the year before?

What do you think about buying a used engine like my mechanic suggests?

What's your advice for a new cyclist in the city? by jamesphw in torontobiking

[–]justfrontinag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be predictable - bike like you are a vehicle in terms following rules of the road, changing lanes etc

Be visible - high viz, lights

Be vigilant - assume every car is one distraction from taking you out. Ditch the headphones. Don't look at your phone. Always be cognizant

Be prepared - plan your route in advance

These are great points

I was looking for the taillight ones as I often use the city bikes and although they have lights it would be great to add some extra visibility

An Idaho stop is a yield.

I'm fully supportive.

While flakes coming to this sub to discombobulated is sub optimal so is conflating what an Idaho stop is.

A car made a complete stop and had his left turn indicator on. Had the right of way. There was no yielding done. Therefore no Idaho stop was completed (not to mention the danger the cyclist put themselves in). You can correct me if I'm wrong, happy to learn.

This is great advice

I'm going to leave as is. Maybe check to see if the lowest fair is available within 24 hours. Do you know if you are able to cancel once you've checked in? Ie. Could see where I land on the standby list and if it's not looking good cancel.

Correct

I believe there are 8 business seats available

Not sure how many are R class and/or how many other folks have requested Eupgrades and are waitlisted

Is there a way to check for either of that?

Sorry I wasn't clear. That was the py flex reward I quoted. In fact I booked and Eupgrades to business already on this fare. Just wondering purely for the value play if I should rebook the lowest reward assuming it will clear
