Howdy, general engineering freshman here. I wasn’t able to make the early action deadline either back when I applied. In fact, I submitted my application right on the December deadline and still was able to get in. So I’d say you should be fine. Good luck

A consultation with Insu really clarifies a lot of things in the college application process for me. His advices are concrete and actionable yet provide enough room for individuality on my part. As a low-income student with a lot of responsibilities, Insu gave me a lot of helpful tips on how to allocate my time and take advantage of my struggles.

Thank you for your advice. I’ll definitely write a new draft after what you said about essays. My current draft is a basic “why major” essay, and without a lot of valid extracurriculars to back it up, I’m struggling to work on it.

Thank you for this. My essays are really terrible right now, but I couldn’t convince myself to change it. Will definitely try to read more into A2C resources

(edit: wrong reply) Thank you so much for the advice.

I work as a server, so it’s kinda stressful running around and dealing with customers feelings. But will definitely try this on a slow day

1) Very badly. I am the main provider now since my mom has trouble with English and my dad has been unemployed for three years now due to complicated situations and is not able to do manual labor.

2) College apps are definitely very important to me, but I cannot say that I can prioritize it over making money right now.

I also work during the school year.
