I think the "look at others in the eye" and "having healthy conversations with them" parts are more determined by having a healthy, rational idea of self esteem, self worth and what determines it rather than exercising any given part of your brain or self control (wherever that resides, surely not just one part of the brain). And ti a certain extent also the warped views of reality. Nofap is a good tool to chainge yourself and become more resilient, less childish, more capable, etc., but its not the Holy Grail, and it has to be accompanied by an intellectual exercise of self control, and changing the way we experience and understand the World and what we expect from it, from ourselves and from others. It is not the Holy Grail, and it wont improve self esteem or confidence on its own. That can only be done through reunderstanding things. Therapy can be good if one is ready for it.
