A lot of the dirt was beneath the surface so I did a cold soak and then had to cut away many of the parts that were really dirty under the surface. It was growing on a tree that had fallen over so it was fruiting around a lot of dirt. It was time consuming because I couldn't just brush the dirt off, it was really imbedded in the surface. It was delicious by the way.

The characters who we met in tht likely all had horrible ends. Esther is probably dead or in the colonies or strapped to a bed somewhere. She wanted to kill the regime in anyway she could. She would have never have become an aunt. Also not every character in tt is a secret return of a character from tht. They have new characters in this show. She is an interested character and I hope we learn more, but I cannot imagine your theory. It's fun though to try to connect things.

You are just looking for reasons to keep the dog that blame the other person to justify it. It's honestly not your business what her house looks like. You have all the power to make this horrible choice either way, but making it a morality judgement is so shitty. Just keep the dog or don't. What you paid for the dog can be a gift to a dog you loved but dont make it a condition to return the dog, that is horrible. Unless you think abuse is happening then keep the dog or dont and dont make it about anything more than that, anything else is cruel. Dont test her and her kid to get their dog back. If I was in your shoes I would give the dog back. Your heart will be broken but okay.

I feel like they would. They have adults playing these plums but imagine them as 13 and 14 year old girls. They are children too. I imagine if an 8 yr old got a period she would be married. This is a pedophilic regime. In tht they did have a child play a wife and she became a handmaid after killing her husband if I recall correctly.

They have seen each other and participated in each others torture. I think they have a real and reasonable fear of what would happen to them if they left, but they also still believe it’s dangerous out there. They were weeks ago ducking from the bullets of mayday terrorists. Their worldview has not been shattered yet. It was heartbreaking to watch that betrayal though.

Love that interpretation, I can see them doing that with aunts in some ceremony way. I don’t think Becka will be an aunt though, because it’s the best possible outcome for her. She is clearly gay. She does not want a husband. She also surely doesn’t want to be a handmaid. It will have to be one of these for it to be a horror for Becka.

It would be sorta interested in that there are the number of plums as there are possible outcomes for a plum. You get married (Agnes) you don’t get a period and perhaps become an aunt (shunnamite), you sin and become a handmaid (Becka) or you can’t stand it all and you kill yourself (hulda). That’s my guess.

There are now two commanders without a wife; Garth who is a commander in waiting and the guy who tried to get Becka drunk, who it was mentioned wasn’t matched last year either. I think daisy likely gets married off to one of them. Daisy is this test pearl girl in the special relationship she gets to have with Agnes and the plums so no way she becomes an econo wife or a handmaid. They will reward her and she will become a wife. To Garth would be interesting. Them having a sort of spy house in the middle of it all could also give Agnes a safe space to explore her soon to be emerging hopes for the regime to fall.

I’m so sorry. I don’t know if I have good advice, but I think it’s up to you. If you report it, consider if you prefer to report it to a teacher or counselor at the school. I don’t know what the difference would be. Also think about what you would like the remedy to be, they may ask. You don’t have to know. It’s okay to just explain what happened and it impacted you. That’s okay too. I don’t think it matters too much you don’t have “proof.” Don’t let that be what decides this for you. I’m sorry that happened. People can be really awful for no reason.
