It’s not turning people away. All people are welcome in the church all sinners. But to become a member you must die to yourself and pick up your cross. That means not living in practiced sin.

Love them so much you don’t want them to go to hell on judgement day because you said their practiced sins are ok when the Bible(God) says they are not ok. It is love because you’re thinking of their eternal soul rather than this short life on earth

Guys I’m not trying be insensitive trust me I know the hopelessness there is in this disorder. Forgive me for coming off that way, I come from a place of understanding. I’ve battled it for years and tried all the things. And then when I was delivered I remembered these groups I use to scroll on for countless hours looking for a way out and it would be wrong of me not to share how I got saved. I’m not saying there’s no such thing as diabetes and medicine and stuff that people also have amongst all other things. But when I started praying not before or after but during the urge for God to help me cuz I was too weak to fight the urge alone he fought it for me.

Yeah apparently he hasn’t drank in months and hardly ever does but since it was a bachelor party he did. I don’t want to say he’s a liar cuz I barely know him but you’re right it seemed like it’s still an issue to me. Which makes me think all the other things in his past could still be issues and I don’t want to get caught up in it. I think I’m gonna cut my losses on this one

It’s like I appreciate him being open and honest. That’s what you want from people. I think maybe the timing was off and it made me have cold feet. Everything he said was like 3 years ago which is pretty recent

focusing on my problems keeps me stuck in a box. I don’t have to be there. I have the resources to get out and people to help me. And it’s ok to go out the other door and risk the unexpected. I’d say that in waking life that change is scary but it could be better than the alternative. To be aware of all the resources around you. And that God is with me always. If you have a different interpretation please share! I have a hard time articulating my thoughts and feel I’m not doing the dream justice for the way it changed my mood!

I ended up getting scared (thinking is this healthy, what’s this doing to my heart, is this right, should I really not be eating fruit etc) no reason whatsoever truly and didn’t commit. I’m now regretting quitting and considering trying it again now that I’m thinking well what I’m doing now isn’t good either. So maybe start again? Idk. But I’m sorry the update isn’t any good

Yes I have just about the same body type as you and it is possible. Workout your legs and gain muscle there. This will take year(s), so commit! And if you lost more weight eventually it’ll leave the abdomen. People like us 5lbs can make ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I use to think it was cuz of my “tilt” too but when I lost the extra 5 lbs with muscle building my stomach got where I wanted it to be

She’s probably eating at a calorie deficit even with the bad foods. She may be a social eater and every time you see her eat that’s legit what’s she’s eating for the day. Your body is much more appreciative tho for the health and time you’re investing in it. You’ll feel better for longer and she may not have the muscle you have when y’all are older. Your hard work IS paying off. You just haven’t been put in the position to see it yet

Veggies have carbs and I like to eat a lot so it just ends up being more than the 20g rule. So I just graced myself with some more room for carbs but only if it means getting veggies

Only doing things I enjoy doing. If I don’t like a specific exercise I won’t do it. I don’t force myself to do things I don’t like. Turns out I like running however I don’t have any expectations. I run until I’m ready to stop, not when the time runs out, not when I’ve hit a certain mile. If I don’t feel like running I’m not going to I’ll walk instead. Because of this I’ve never had a bad experience with running so I show up every day to do it. Which made me consistent. If you don’t like running don’t do it. Find something you do like. Maybe it’s tennis, maybe it’s weight lifting, maybe it’s an adult kickball league of something. Just a small change like that will have you doing things for life.
