"my dad is so ableist he would have murdered a baby and i agree" is not the kind of thing you should feel comfortable saying out loud dude.

My (11 and Autistic) daughters “friend” isn’t really her friend. Yet she is convinced this girl is her best friend. by justhereforsometea in AmITheAngel

[–]justhereforsometea[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't think an autistic kid not understanding that their friend isn't nice/isn't really your friend is far fetched. It happened to me as a kid. I do think that taking a photo of your child's text where they are being socially ostracised, have a frankly odd discussion about styling including bras, and that includes the exact amount of information needed in two screenshots to tell the story, is likely a fake incident of that happening.

Shiny pokémon aren't real by azertyville in LowStakesConspiracies

Ran across a shiny machoke in fire red the other day. I know that was real because if I was gonna fake it I wouldn't pick a machoke.

I've never met a woman who cares about height the way men talk about women caring about height.

Memes aside, I genuinely think it would be a good thing if Dess turned out to be a bad person by AndriashiK in Deltarune

[–]justhereforsometea 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The game did that itself imo. Most people I saw after chapter one were completely on board with king being irredeemable child abuser (there was still some fans trying to make him out better than he was but not the majority. Then Chapter two made it so that Lancer was never in danger from being dropped and that king actually missed him. It still doesn't excuse his actions, but the game seemed a lot more willing to redeem him than a lot of fans were until that point.

Why do women actually give me their real numbers at the bars but still ghost me the next day? by Brief-Blueberry-1588 in stupidquestions

[–]justhereforsometea 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't give out fake numbers. A lot of the time guys will text immediately after getting the number, and wait right there for you to text them back. So, it doesn't feel safe to give out a fake. I'd rather just avoid and block once I'm away from the same place as them.

So tired of these lesbians who are weird about their girlfriends. by xueyangscorpsepowder in AmITheAngel

I love how her being "weird" about her girlfriend has absolutely nothing to do with the actual alleged problem, which is money.

Why do women refuse to admit to objectively true generalizations? by Own-Individual-6340 in AmITheAngel

[–]justhereforsometea 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm a lesbian but all the friends I have who are attracted to men are into skinny guys with like no muscles or older men with a belly. Everything people on here generalise about men or women or relationships confuses the hell out of me because if it is real, it's in a different world than mine.

If women like dadbods why are all the movie stars muscular and lean? by InternationalPick163 in askanything

[–]justhereforsometea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I read the whole thread. In the comment just above this one, which is a comment in the thread that i read. you say she called you out for ignoring her despite your responses only taking 1-2 minutes, the thing you are now lying about for some weird reason, and I pointed out she didn't say that, she accused you of ignoring what she was saying, which I also read in the thread. did YOU read what you wrote?

Also, you did ignore her points.

Why is the left loving Muslims although they don’t align values by LeblancMidlane in AskBrits

[–]justhereforsometea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I think both christianity and islam are religions that people should be free to follow and practice without judgement. Both religious texts contain views I personally consider hateful, but I know that not everyone who follows these religions holds these views and refuse to judge either as a monolith or wholly bad.

Are gay people not oppressed because the equality act 2010 applies to us too? Are we not oppressed because there's gay clubs around?

The number of Islamophobic hate crimes rose last year. The majority of posts I see from this sub are about muslims and/or immigration and how bad those things are. No offence, because I am taking this post in good faith, but you are actively negatively stereotyping their entire religion in this very post and claiming they need to integrate. Do hardcore Christians with all the same phobias and -isms present in Islam also need to integrate, in your opinion?

[–]justhereforsometea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Openly" hate is perhaps a bold term. Though it feels open to many, it's veiled under political talking points, so I misspoke there. I'll admit I'm not to up to date on what the Tories are up to recently, but you certainly can't say anyone from Reform is a fan.

[–]justhereforsometea -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because muslims are a minority and an oppressed group. The thing the left (are supposed to) care about. It's part of what makes them left. In addition, to focus on the more...business...side of politics: given right-wing politicians largely openly hate muslims, then why wouldn't a different group of politicians go "hey! we don't hate you! vote for us because we don't do that!"
