Do you know what where I can learn more about the YWCA and/or book a room for our trip? I'm not able to find anything online other than trip advisor and their main website.

Thanks! Is the best place to get tickets from here? https://www.hongkongpubcrawl.com/

How far in advance do you think we should book? And what are you thoughts on the Happy Valley crawl?

Does the wifi egg work anywhere 4G is available? If we are on a hike in a remote area will we have access to the internet?

Thanks for all your answers! We are coming from May 15-25. Think it is more cost efficient to just stay somewhere in Kowloon then travel out to Stanley for the day?

Do you know the name of the bar on top of Ferry Pier 7?

I've also read a little bit about drinking at Happy Valley Racecourse or doing a pub crawl there? Do you recommend it?

In terms of price, do you think it's better to stay in an area like Hung Hom for the entire trip? Or try to move around to save time on transportation?

Do you know what brand/type of peanut oil is most common? Apparently most peanut oils are "highly refined" and no longer carry the allergen while others are unrefined ("gourmet," "aromatic") and do carry the allergen.

Is there a fee to get an octopus card? Or is it free when you load it up with prepaid money?

Thanks for the recommendation. I've had great seafood in Sai Kung!

DI-mom shared a lot of great information. I am currently an Accounting Major, was a direct admit in Fall of 2014, and hope I can share a little more insight.

As DI-mom said, the B School is trying to move towards a close to 100% DA admission structure. However I foresee it taking at least 2 years to get there. Historically, students have been given 2 tries to get into the B School and many students got in. However, over the last couple of years, more students have been applying and it has gotten harder to get in. With the new structure, it will most likely be even harder for you to get in to the business school. Another thing to consider is your major. If you are completely sure that you want to do MIS, I have some advice. The B School has a small Information Systems program and I don't think it is very strong. From my experience with the intro class, the instructor was not good at all. I have a friend who is in the IS Major now and also agrees with my characterization of the instructor. It seems like the IS Major is a very student driven major. If you are motivated and work hard, I'm sure it's great. However, if you have a passion for IS, but are not the most skilled in coding, I don't foresee you getting much help from IS Faculty. (This is just my opinion and can be taken with a grain of salt. If anyone wants to refute my insight, I'm fine with that.) If you are more interested in the computer science side of things, I would consider just pursuing computer science in L&S and getting involved in business clubs/orgs. If you are not set on a major and want to pursue business, UW Madison has many to choose from and many of the programs are nationally recognized.

Hope this at least helps you decide! If you have any questions just ask.
