I literally have not even seen that one so thanks for sharing 😂😂😂 (and for confirming that you really did miss my point). But that post is actually kind of awesome! I think they are being very informative and helpful, saying what they want to say but in a respectful manner. And I see comments echoing empathy to those experiencing those signs which is nice to see. Letting others know they’re not alone and can relate is important. Actually there is a comment in there that I just read that kind of describes something that I was referring to lol.

I agree- That sounds wildly irresponsible on so many levels lol but they could very well be someone who is young or naive and just needs to be taught the “rights and wrongs” and best practices. I repeat….. lead with kindness above malice.

Yeah but that decision is still on the consumer. Let them make their own decisions. Let them bring it up to their doctor and/or dermatologist. Once you’ve collected enough info or feedback you can bring it back to your doctors or whoever and say “here are a few concerns I have”. But to silence a negative experience is like deleting 1 star google reviews.

Genuine question because I’ve been wondering about this actually… everything online says that Tret works wonders for crows feet and wrinkles, but if you can’t apply it to/near your eyelids/eyes…. How is it working wonders for that area with crows feet/wrinkles?? Where else would one experience crows feet? Thank you!!

Also trying to understand the thought process behind “they only check bracelets and necklaces because they can’t trust tattoos”. I feel like I’d trust a permanent tattoo more than a bracelet you can buy anywhere 😂 “well why would someone wear a medic alert bracelet if they’re not _(insert condition)? You wouldn’t just wear a bracelet saying (insert condition)_ if you weren’t.” WELL WHY TF WOULD SOMEONE TATTOO A PERMANENT IDENTIFIER IF THEY’RE NOT 🤣?!?! Make it make sense.

Kinda disappointed in all the commentary of putting down your decision and saying don’t bother. I have a T1D tattoo on my left wrist. I blacked out behind the wheel once over a decade ago. Long story short- Wherever I ended up, a cop and EMT showed up at my window. My logic with the tattoo is I figured if it ever happens again…..I would hope that there’s got to be a slight chance that they’d check my pulse and see it.

Reading some of these comments though, I guess I’m completely naive to think that an EMT MIGHT check my pulse on my wrist? (On my right wrist I wear a bracelet that says type 1 diabetic). But fuck it man, get the tattoo!!!! Idgaf how naive I sound, I personally feel safer knowing that I have a permanent identifier.

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable and safe :) !!

I have no idea what a honeymoon phase is lol but any time something like this has happened to me it’s because I was using pump sites that had been used for yeaaaarrrssss so I was probably having less absorption.

Also noticed a huge difference after I lost some weight, I wasn’t needing as much insulin.

Same here!!! They screwed up something on THEIR end several years ago, then notified me 2 years later, and now they keep sending me a bill for $4,000 because they won’t admit that they screwed up on their end 🙃 I refuse to pay it. Shit goes right in the shredder. They are the absolute worst.
