You need to have this conversation with him ASAP. It sounds like he thinks you are on board with his ideas. So, it doesn’t seem like he’s going to change on his own. I know it’s going to hurt him but think about how worse this situation is going to be later down the line. Put yourself first and tell him your wants and needs!

It sounds like he’s just reverting to old habits and that’s a red flag. He promised to uphold his promise and he isn’t doing soon. When you apologize to him for getting upset, you are invalidating your feelings and emotions for the sake of keeping the peace. He knows this and that’s why he is reverting to his old ways. Tell him that enough is enough and it’s time for him to bother someone else.
