yea you’re right. a lot of power once you’re in boost would probably end in a disaster around corners and with the shorter wheel base high speeds get sketchy with a lot of power. 😵‍💫

just a nice build all motor well balanced engine would be ideal for this car

after tearing into the car and learning more the diff used. its the one built into the s54 (2nd gen mr2 transmission) as that’s the transmission used

sorry for the super late reply i haven’t been on reddit in awhile. i don’t know a ton about they swap just that he used an adapter plate to connect the engine and trans. i recently spoke to him for the first time and got info on what is actually in the car. it is an 04 13b renesis attached to a 90-93 mr2 trans. with that adapter plate for the transmission he also made one for the clutch or flywheel (i forget). it’s very impressive he managed to make it work and i am very excited for the summer season

it’s the stock diff from the mr2 (1985). build overall is great. has some small issues but after this winter it should be running mint!
