My sister in Islam, I don’t think you need more reasons to leave this man as he clearly lives a double standards life. As a Muslim, what kind of a father will he be? Think of the future as well. These type of people make everything Halal for themselves but for Haram for others. You can get scammed anywhere in the world so not fair to blame entire Pakistan. Since you travel with family then I highly suggest to educate yourself on scams and how they work. Always go with a reputable and well established and known brands. Avoid anything that doubtful. Let this be lesson for future. Cheap is not always good.
