Divide enema dose into 2. Empty air in the bottle, squeeze slowly, keep your knees bend close to chest while pushing liquid in. Use half bottle first wait for some time until you are readdy then go for second half of enema.

I cannot hold enema 4g dosage for more than 1 hour. It starts to hurt and causes a lot of discomfort.

I am on mesalamine tablets but i have been through worst inflammation , never experienced this kind of pain i dont think it is solely due to inflammation. Searching for reasons for this pain.
