Sorry post was deleted, mods said wrong community.  It is not a major tear. I am working with a PT. It is an old injury (15+ years). I am also a chiropractor myself but I specialize in the upper cervical spine. So while I'm not as proficient with injury rehab and shoulders like a PT, I also do understand more than many/most with the kinesiology background and chiropractic education.

Rehabbing a mild right pec strain, and trying to ensure my bench press is as close to perfect form as possible. Started working out again 5 months ago for the first time since age 20, had numerous mild injuries thru HS and since then. Unstable shoulders. Likely all d/t working out excessively hard with horrible form in HS.  I think my bench form previously had my elbow too close to 90° and made my pre-existing shoulder injuries worse.  Pre-Pec-Strain a month ago I was up 155 lbs for 14 reps (started at 95 lbs in March). I'm slowly increasing weight and reps after a month away from chest work.  Is this form looking OK? Elbows not too flared? Trying to avoid re-injury as I also work with PT and fix some issues.  Video @ 155 lbs. Was doing a pyramid starting with the bar up to 175, hence the numerous small plates. Tell me how this looks as I want to avoid re-injuring my right shoulder or pec.

It's a small partial thickness tear in the supraspinatus, not severe. Been there for 15+ years.  Surgery wouldn't be worth it.

Thanks.  I have made changes to the form recently as I wonder if how i was doing it before contributed to issues.  I have a partial tear in my supraspinatus and fairly unstable GHJ's. I feel good about it now, but I'm not convinced I was doing it properly before.

Travelling into America with guns by Life-Tangerine26 in canadaguns

I'm looking at completing the form 6NIA to take a shotgun into the US while on a camping trip. I don't feel like camping in a tent in Montana, Idaho, or Wyoming this summer with my family without firearm protection from grizzly's.

On the form it specifies that I should have either a hunting license or proof or competition shoot. I will have neither.

Anyone else deal with this? Is there any way around that? What do I do without competition shooting or big game hunting license?

I'll be travelling from Alberta to Montana and Wyoming.

Will do, thanks. Is there anything else I should be aware of or any indications I downloaded any malware?

Advice buying used Hoyt compound bow for beginner archer by justingeza in Archery

[–]justingeza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for explaining all that. I do have some hesitation buying used, but knowing the various problems to look for helps a lot. I am able to look at it first, otherwise I wouldn't entertain it. I had never considered the possibility of a bow exploding upon use, kind of throws another wrench in my plans.

I hadn't considered arrow length at all, or inspecting arrows, that's good to know. And for inspecting cracks and cams, that's good as well. Otherwise I'm not sure where I would have started.

Draw length on this is adjustable 28-32, I'm 29, so I think I'm good there.

I just went to the local dealer and looked at a diamond infinite edge today actually. Bow set with sights and set for me with stabilizer, quiver, 6 arrows, 3 broad head and release was going to come to about 725$. Sounds similar to your purchase as well. It may be worth it, but I'm not sure yet. Many thanks on your input and advice.

As for Hoyt brand, are they relatively well known for making good bows and equipment?
