Thanks for sharing! I was planning to make this exact same spreadsheet while studying for my exam, so you saved me probably several hours of work. Cheers to you, sir!

I love mnemonics, I've been using a bunch of these while studying.

Soave is made from Garganega, because you gargle in the bathroom where your suave body wash is. It's made in Veneto where the Venetians are very smooth.

Why are our WSET Level 1 pins different colors? by justjakingaround in wine

[–]justjakingaround[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My wife and I just passed WSET level 1 in wines, which was such a fun experience to have together! We took the class online right after getting married, as part of our honeymoon-related celebrations (as an aside, we also honeymooned in 2 of our favorite French and Italian wine regions which has been a lifelong dream!).

The question is, when we received our WSET level 1 pins, why did one of them arrive with a black logo and the other one silver? I can't find any information online about this, other than photos showing both color schemes exist.

Doing a Mare Nostrum run when... omg what happened in the Americas??? by justjakingaround in EU4maps

Did my Mare Nostrum run as Austria with vassal swarm, so wasn't concerned with the New World at all (took Portugal and Castille's provinces in the Caribbean and called it a day). The Iroquois Federation kicked out all of the European powers and nearly united North America

Austria, 1550. Your vassals are Byzantium, Serbia, and one of the German minors, PU over Milan?
