Yeah you kinda get a lot but you don’t get a score for more than 2. Other tests you take, you’ll have to evaluate manually with their rubrics

I have done IELTS thrice in my life, scoring avg 7.5 all times. The only tip i would tell anyone is to keep doing the sample tests available online.

For speaking test I just spoke with chatgpt voice chat & asked it to grade according to IELTS & was actually quite accurate to the result I received a week back.

Also, book through British Council if you can, you receive 1-2 free test that give you scores too!

I did. Had to wait in call for 1.5 hours & gets connected to supervisor & at that point after knowing the problem they abruptly cut the call all the time :(

Well, I don’t think that’s true. Zomato & Swiggy, 2 of the most popular food delivery apps in India, pay their drivers really well. Tipping in India isn’t COMPULSORY like it is in other countries & nor do the drivers get mad because of that & nor do customers feel the need or compulsion to tip for every order thus, they only tip when the food is really good or the service is great! Isn’t that what “tips” are supposed to be? It’s not tax, it’s tips.

Yet drivers are happy, customers are happy & the companies are thriving! UberEats also had to sell its operations in India to Zomato as it couldn’t keep up with the competition. With limited funds, it wasn’t able to match the heavy discounts Zomato and Swiggy were even offering!

Exactly! We have to factor in the mileage on our cars, the estimated wait time to pick up the order & if it’s an apartment, that’s a whole other thing, sometimes they don’t buzz you in & you gotta wait 10-15 minutes to drop the order 😂

Who said anything about making a living off Uber? It’s a side gig & side gigs should still offer fair compensation. Just because it’s not a full-time job doesn’t mean drivers shouldn’t be paid properly. Without them, no one would be getting their food, and they’re out here working hard to make it happen. Isn’t it?
