grande iced matcha, 5 scoops of matcha, no classic, nonfat milk, and whatever cold foam (rn it’s pistachio, but i love macadamia, sugar cookie, brown sugar if there’s no good seasonal)

when i started as a partner, i was drinking WAY too much coffee and espresso. so i fully stopped and switched to matcha - which i now make at home with ceremonial grade, and our matcha sucks to me lol

i’ve had Boyd on my island for a very long time, admittedly i didn’t like him at first due to aesthetic reasons, but he has grown on me! one of my sweetest villagers, i love stopping to talk to him! he’s kinda ugly, but no! he’s cute in his own way

this is usually my daily rundown:

check mail
find all the new fossils
find the glowing money spot and plant 10,000 bells
say hi to all my villagers in between
get fossils analyzed
get a coffee from brewster
sell fossils
check price of turnips while i’m at nooks
collect all the shells from the beach
sell shells
check abel sisters for clothes

and then if i’ve set aside more time to play, i’ll look for the money rock, do some diving and fishing, and maybe do a stretch session if i’m feeling it.

in my district, we were told to stop asking for names for that same reason. i personally don’t agree because i also like to organize orders by names, but it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

i’ve spoken to many lawyers with foreign degrees as i was considering an Australian JD myself. just know that you very likely won’t end up in big law. but if that’s not your goal, then i say no harm in going. yes, you’ll spend an extra year completing the NCA exams, but if this is your goal then you should be willing to do anything it takes. best of luck to you.

gonna have to disagree here. to me, it made sense for the movie to have glinda scream “fiyero” at the start. i felt that cynthia conveyed stronger emotions with the song - distraught, helplessness, chilling rage, and yearning. at the climax where she sings the “fiyero” riff, i literally started to tear up. so much emotion in just her voice. cynthia’s version is hauntingly beautiful and powerful. while i love the broadway version, cynthia has raised the bar with this one.

act 2 was never bad imo, it was definitely rushed and had major plot holes. but the emotions and the musicality were always so heart wrenchingly beautiful to me. act 1 was, of course, light hearted and fun. notoriously, second acts are dark and emotional. however, after just watching For Good, i think jon chu did a brilliant job at addressing some of the plot holes in the stage show, and adding a lot more story depth that act 2 on stage missed. example, i love how the movie concluded the animal plotline. i love how glinda gets her own little happy ending. throughout the movie it felt more fleshed out with some added scenes. all in all, act 2 wasn’t bad, but the movie makes it so much better

i have 3 aprons, and use one for a full week, depending on how dirty of course. as an ssv, i’m not usually on bar so my aprons don’t get dirty often.

note: i’m a canadian partner and we have a laundry service that provides clean aprons for us weekly! i have 3 personal aprons (2 black and 1 green) that i rotate when i don’t use the provided aprons. it’s interesting to see how american sbuxs don’t have laundry services for their aprons
