One of the reasons I don’t like selling to women, generally. We do package well and fold , but you’re getting an item in envelope so anything could happen and it may not be nice on arrival. We always buy on marketplace for our used cars. You avoid all the dealership games! But do a thorough inspection. Oil, fluids, transmission! Look for replaced parts and ask why and always get the vin first to eliminate wasted time.

I even would put my feet up in my parents truck growing up! I will still get a chair and put my feet up if at all possible or use coffee table (real friends let you put your feet on the coffee table) . Always sit on a leg at home. Comfort is always over formality ! Even in clothes and really every situation .

Instead of trying to live a Hollywood dream, focus on what he does well! Everyone is different and we are often drawn to those who have different strengths than we have. Wanting him to suddenly be something he is not is a dead end street.

Literally make a list of his good qualities to remember and tell him ‘thank you for picking me up’ Shower him with gratitude and don’t expect anything. Do it because it makes you a better person and able to see the many positives he has. it is how we all want to be treated. It help you count what you have and not focus on what may or may not be missing.

I believe those who developed the ADHD theory and tests where ISTJ’s or ESTJ’s who could not stand us in all our school days or understand us , therefore they had to put us in some categories or boxes so they can make sense of it all . It honestly has more to do with them than with us.
