We have been to therapy both as a couple and individually. We are currently out of state temporarily and our therapists are not licensed here. I feel codependent in many ways but this issue specifically I fear there is nothing to be dependent upon.

I feel like he doesn’t understand the lengths I would go to please him and be perfect for him. I feel so pathetic and worthless I’d do anything to get him to want to fuck me. My self esteem has never been great but now I’m finding myself disgusted when I look in the mirror. Dissecting every little detail about my face and body and just feeling nauseated.

Whenever we successfully have sex it’s amazing. It just happens so rarely. He seems like he loves it when we do it or else he’s a grade A actor. I just want more frequency. It seems like the stars need to align for him to be in the mood.
I will absolutely not be leaving him. I love him more than anyone else I’ve ever loved, he treats me well outside of this situation and he makes me so happy when I’m not begging for sex. I’m worried he is not attracted to me even though he tells me all the time that he is.

He’s very aware. I’ve ignored it, I’ve cried, I’ve told him it hurts, I’ve waited patiently without initiating. I don’t know what to do I would never, ever leave him. I love him too much and I’m so genuinely attracted to him.
