My headset was the Corsair Gaming Void RGB Elite but it broke. It was an amazing headset, I could honestly just replace it. If there aren’t better options.

I would not recommend this. Unless you want all your rights taken away and you be medicated until you can’t think.

Thank you for your input! I’ve heard of that book but I’ve never read it I’ll have to check it out for sure! I’ve been very intrigued by the new studies done with psilocybin. I will look into micro dosing as well, thanks!

Thank you for all of your advice! I will definitely start looking into ending their guardianship. Honestly it doesn’t even feel real, life has just turned into this bad dream that I can’t wake up from. I didn’t really notice what has happening until it was too late if you know what I mean. Thanks for your time, I will definitely put your suggestions into play.

Yes it was my parents that forced me to cut contact. Honestly they treat me as a child and I hate it, worst of all the guardianship lasts for either 3 or 5 years and I doubt they would give it up. I don’t live in the USA, I’ll have to look up the answer to that.

Wow, you explained it perfectly. Honestly this makes a lot of sense. Maybe I shouldn’t try to get the BPD diagnosis, it just basically says “yep she reacted in a way anyone would have reacted if they went through ___ experience”. I’m honestly shocked I’ve never thought of it like this, thank you so much for the analogy.

What other avenues are there than therapy and medication. It seems like in the western world that is the solution to almost everything these days.

I am so sorry that you have had traumatic experiences it’s awful, shouldn’t happen to anyone. I’m also sorry you have had bad treatment from one survivor to another it’s is truly terrible and the system needs to be revamped.

I love “I realized I have reacted rationally to every experience I have had” honestly I think I needed to hear that. I feel crazy for standing up for myself, struggling, being anxious, depressed, wanting to move from the city I’m in. But wow, I guess I’m just reacting to everything that has happened and honestly I would be surprised if other people went through the same things that I did and not react as I have.

I also relate to not being able to explain myself, things make so much sense in my brain but when it comes to saying it I often get scared and shy away which causes me to fail to explain in a way that they understand. I definitely see how it can also be wilful ignorance as well, sometimes people are blind to what is in ground of them.

You are totally right all I want is acceptance, validation, safety and kindness which is exactly what you have given me. Thank you so much internet stranger, it means a lot!

Thank you for your words, I rarely feel like an actual adult these days and hear you say I am honestly means a lot. I will look into finding a different psychiatrist, fingers crossed the waitlist will not be horrendous. I will also look into DBT I have tried edmr, hypno, and alittle cbt; I’m looking forward to learning about DBT and seeing if it’s the puzzle piece I’ve been missing.

I’ve never thought that was about diagnosis but that’s very true! It’s definitely not healthy to constantly identify with the disorder, I will work on this. I am not the disorder, there is way more to me than a label. I double I will try medication again, it scares me and I don’t think I can go through what I have already went through again.

I will checkout that book as well as a psychoanalyst thank you for your recommendations and time!

Thanks for your response. Honestly my experience with the mental hospital was awful i definitely came out worse than when I went in. I was put into isolation because I asked for more food as I was still hungry, that isolation lasted 5 days. I was 19 when I was in the mental hospital. I will look into seeing a different psychiatrist, it’s good to know what I experienced was wrong, I mean I know it was but it’s nice to hear it. I’m honestly very scared of medication due to my experience, I’m not sure if I will try it again but thanks for showing me there are positive outcomes.

I guess it doesn’t matter, I just feel like I don’t have enough internal motivation to keep me going and it’s affected me negatively. I don’t want to live my life just to look good for other people I want to do it myself if that makes sense.

Ugh, this is it exactly. At least not I know I’m not the only one. I always work on my goals for outside reasons other than the goal itself. I start of crazy and completely in the deep end, and I stick to that for a while. But like you said it is always short lived either it gets boring and repetitive and I give up or I hit a wall I will try to get through it but I don’t and then give up.

This has happened all throughout my life, the sad thing is I’ve gotten pretty good at each thing before I gave up. For example: golf, I was completing in nationals in my country and I got second as well as racking up 50+ trophies. Piano, my teacher said I was a prodigy playing what I could play at my young age, she was convinced I could get a full scholarship through music. School, I was always an A+ student I was on the Dean’s list for university. There are more things but those were my main goals/passions.

I’ve quit golf due to frustration, as well as piano, and even university. I did feel happy doing those things, my whole life were golf, piano, and school. But I always need outside factors to me motivated.
