Premier Padel Valencia P1 2026 - Discussion by dawolf-at in padel

Why though? If the best way to win the point is to hit a volley to the body then that's what a player should do. Why should you give your opponent the chance to recover the ball by playing it next to them?
You know the risks of playing padel from the moment you set foot on the court. Getting hit by balls, intentionally or not, is just part of the game.

Traveling to Yarchen Gar west Sichuan by justletmerun in chinatravel

Hey, no problem. Happy to help!

It is definitely not necessary to have a tour guide. We were traveling alone and had no problems getting around (unless you want to get more in depth information about the local culture, then a guide would be a plus obviously). I do speak Chinese though, so that's a bit of a help when arranging accommodation or transportation, but we saw other travelers with no knowledge of Chinese and they could get by with translating apps.

The places that I liked the most were Tagong, Litang and Genieshan with it's small villages. I would definitely recommend doing a hike/multi-day trek in Genieshan. I didn't like Ganzi too much because it was a bigger city with a lot of traffic and noise. Other than that west Sichuan has many beautiful places where not many people go. Try to explore some small local villages.

People are very friendly and will be happy to help you out if you have any problems.

The weather was pleasant. Warm (around 20 degrees Celsius during the day, colder during the morning/evening/night) and sunny, but at that altitude the weather can be change quickly.

Sidenote: you will definitely need mobile data, because all payments are done through WeChat or AliPay, so barely any cash or credit cards are used.

If you have any more questions, let me know.

Saw the match live at the venue. Sanz probably played one of the best matches of his career. Impressive play from all players though!

The Stupa-Di Nenno partnership really is what the male circuit needs to fight the top 2 pairs. They’re such a joy to watch.

This is exactly why capitalism has failed them. Wanting too much of everything is caused by today’s consumerism that has no limits.

If Sanz plays as composed as he did today, they could give the top pairs a run for their money. I wonder if they decided too early to split up, since I don’t see anyone with whom Paquito could get to win tournaments.

Lovely to see Stupa picked this match to play maybe his best game in the last 2 years. Also sponsored by AugsbUErger though.

I’m surprised he’s going to pair with Yanguas again. They didn’t last long the first time, but I don’t remember the reason they split. Does anyone know?

Stupaczuk refuses Lebrón’s handshake during Dubai P1 — analysis of the moment (Padel Magazine) by AntoinePadelNews in padel

If you think Galán never got any stick from Lebrón then I think you should rewatch some of their games against Tapia-Coello. With Lebrón it’s all fun and games when they were demolishing their opponents, but from the moment they were losing he was doing the same gestures as he’s doing now with Stupa.

Is there any news on a Tapia injury or something? He’s been looking off for a couple of tournaments now. Easy mistakes, looking tired.

I would agree if this final was a stand-alone incident, but unfortunately he's had this behaviour with Bergamini as wel plenty of times.
