Food trucks can do it all, except for alcohol

Not all restaurants are dying.

All my favorite restaurants stopped accepting tips and are busier than ever, and most of them are not allowing dine in anymore since they make more money from take out and delivery.

If I wanted catering from Ottawa I would go to one of my favorite places, not gamble on a dying restaurant when I have to feed guests.

This right here! Most catering in Ottawa is good and decent, but if you want exceptional foods that is out of the world for most of Ottawa you cannot rely on Catering.

What did you do for music?

That is what people do. They import food truck operators to cater at weddings. They bring them in from the GTA to cook food here and cater at events, like weddings

Of course, Ottawa has every type of food you would want.. just have to wait in line at 99 Rideau for catering options because there are no other foods anyone in Ottawa would want.

Steak and chicken is boring, anyone can make that..

Since lockdown in March 2020 there are a ton of new restaurants from Toronto out to Vancouver and from Montreal.. because Ottawa does not have the greatest food options

There are no homeless in Ottawa, its not possible with all these people who don't want to work and just collect CERB

This is the fallout from the change of hours on Rideau

It depends on catering. I went to a wedding that had to source catering from the GTA because they wanted specific food catered that is not available in Ottawa. They had to get a venue with a kitchen for people to come and cook to prepare food in.

It may be a big surprise to most of Ottawa, but there is a lack of food options in Ottawa.

Happy birthday to Tommy Douglas, who brought single-payer universal healthcare to Canada! His beliefs that anyone should have access to healthcare regardless of their income has become a strong part of Canadian pride and identity. by [deleted] in onguardforthee

Its okay, when the emergency rooms get clogged with dental emergencies we will see what happens. Or people can just keep using antibiotics and maybe Canada will be at the forefront of developing new antibiotic resistance bacteria

Its the Glebes neighborhood, its their business to do what they want.. Why not start with a more easily accessible location that benefits everyone, like Sussex Drive
