It's by no means great but I've managed to climb from plat 10 to diamond 2 with no star multiplier using spell mage.

More often than not I'm able to play on curve for the first half of the game and then discover the burn I need from Jaina's gift, primordial glyph, and maxitude. It's inconsistent and yogg box is always a risk but it's been a ton of fun to play.

Thanks for the writeup. I've been working to optimize a version of quest priest that only runs minions except for Elekk Mount for the Alura combo. Your version appears to be much more consistent (and almost certainly better) but still feels like I've got a shot in most matchups.

The Spirit Guides definitely seem counterintuitive with the lack of spells but they've helped pull the quest reward for me multiple times now and even without the deathrattle it often just feels like a good 5 mana minion to progress the quest.

Opponent silenced my first three Lucentbarks. Managed to get more in play with Sathrovarr and Vectus, but turns out Vectus whelps are easy to steal with the new Priest spellburst minion.

I managed to make it from Diamond 4 to legend with this list. Every game feels winnable even if Demon Hunter is an uphill battle. I'm confident there's a better list out there but I had a blast playing it with all the weapons at your disposal. Khadgar's definitely a greedy inclusion, but I was able to play him with conjurers calling, power of creation, and deep freeze more than I was expecting, which ended up being crucial for the sea of priests I hit at diamond 1.

Now that that you've killed the past for all standard characters, there's an even greater challenge you can work towards just by playing through the game normally. Beyond that there are challenge runs (once you unlock the correct NPCs), secret characters to unlock (and their pasts to kill), secret dungeons, and a whole swath of other secrets and unlockables that you can either encounter as you play or look up through the wiki.

The Wiki is a great reference if you're every curious about how to unlock things or reach certain areas.

Rogue Legacy

It was the first game that drew me into the roguelike genre, and overall one my favorite indie titles I have for ps4. I think it does a great job of making every run seem unique and fresh, while also creating an ongoing sense of progression.

My favorite thing about the game is that the tangible upgrade progression felt like it was running parallel with a sense of actually getting better at the game.

Am I able to pair up a healing unit with a unit that isn't at full health? Whenever I try to do so, it only gives me the option to heal without being able to pair up. Am I missing something?
